Luigi Naldi
Dermatologist. He has been working for many years at Ospedali Riuniti of Bergamo and is convinced that research and clinical practice cannot be separate. He has been an investigator with the Istituto Mario Negri of Milan and Visiting Professor at the University of Geneva. He has been appointed a honorary member of the Societé Française de Dermatologie and Director of Centro Studi GISED. His challenge is to do research in Italy independently from industrial interests and outside the usual appointed places such as the university. He evidently succeeds thanks to a splendid and vital heterogeneous working group. Long-live freedom!

Claudio Pelucchi

He graduated from the University of Milan in Demographical Statistical Sciences. He is a researcher at the Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri of Milan and is involved mainly in the epidemiology of tumors and other chronic pathologies. With Centro Studi GISED he conducts analysis of risk factors associated with tumors and skin disease in observational and case-control studies.

Cornelia Zinetti

She graduated from the University of Trento in Sociology and is with Centro Studi GISED since 1998, where she started as secretary and by taking care of the administration; she moved then on to coordinating a few research projects. Her motto is: Exams never end!

Emanuele Castelli

He has a degree in Tactical media and viral communication strategy from the free university PacìPaciana of Bergamo. He is one of the admin of the Indymedia Italia network. He has always been a strong supporter of the free access to information and since 1998 partecipates to the Free Software movement. He collaborates with Centro Studi GISED taking care of the IT-side of the research projects. He loves trips and escape!

Fabrizia Sassi

Surgeon specialized in Odontostomatology. She has been collaborating with Centro Studi GISED since 2003 dealing with skin complications in subjects with organ transplants. She has also recently completed a randomized clinical study on the efficacy of the combinations of 308 nm excimer laser and hydrocortisone in the treatment of vitiligo in the face/neck area.

Gianna Raho

She has a degree in Biological Sciences and has done her study and research first at the University of Lecce and then in various research institutes in Bergamo and in Milan. As a member of Centro Studi GISED she takes care of the scientific updates of the internet web site and of the Psocare mostly by reading scientific journals and surfing the net.

Laura Marchesi

She received her diploma in accounting in 2004. She is in the process of working for a degree in Juridical Sciences at the University of Bergamo. At Centro Studi GISED she is in charge of administration, accounting and quality control.

Paola Bertuccio

She has a degree in Biostatistics and Experimental Statistics. She has been working at the Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri of Milan since 2004, where she has been dealing with statistical analysis of epidemiologic studies and with the trend of tumor death analysis. She began collaborating with Centro Studi GISED in 2006 with the clinical study named SoleSì SoleNo, a project that evaluates the efficacy of educational information on correct sun exposure in elementary schools. She is in charge of analyzing data. Presently she is collaborating with the international project The EDEN Fragrance Study which deals with the prevalence of allergies to perfumes.

Silvano Gallus

He has a degree in Science of Information and has been involved in epidemiology and biostatistics for over 10 years at the Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri in Milan. Since 2006, he has been at the head of the Epidemiology Unit for Clinical Research. He has published many international scientific journals and for over 7 years he has been collaborating with Centro Studi GISED in the field of case-control study on melanoma. He has been involved in a survey to establish the prevalence of naevi in Italian children.

Simone Cazzaniga

He got his degree in Mathematics in Milan and attended a Master in Industrial Applications where he specialized in digital image elaborations and mathematical modelling. Since 2006, he has collaborating with Centro Studi GISED in the project of Imaging and assisted diagnosis in dermatology. Since 2008 he also has worked on statistical analysis and internet sites administration and development.
