Survey on masks as an individual protection system during a SARS-CoV-2 pandemic
What we do
The new coronavirus pandemic (SARS-CoV-2) has imposed the need to establish precise rules to safeguard one's own safety and that of the people with whom one comes into contact, including that of wearing a mask, as an individual protection system.
In order to evaluate the adoption of these measures and any dermatological problems related to use of these personal protective equipment, also in relation to previous skin diseases, Centro Studi GISED, in collaboration with ADOI (Association of Dermatologists-Venereologists Italian Hospital) and DOXA, carried out an online survey. Information was collected on a sample of about 1000 Italian adults, aged between 18 and 74 years.
The results of the survey are being published.
