Centro Studi GISED

Psocare was a complex programme of outcome research on psoriasis promoted by the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) and conducted in collaboration with the dermatological scientific societies (SIDeMaST and ADOI), with patient associations (ADIPSO) and coordinated for the technical part by the Centro Studi GISED with the final aim to improve the medical care of the patients with psoriasis in Italy.

The three-year study associated the prescription of new systemic drugs for psoriasis with the request for information on the long-term outcomes of treatment with these drugs. The possibility of prescribing new biological drugs for psoriasis was subordinated to the participation of the center in the Psocare project (AIFA Determination 2005).
