Centro Studi GISED

The Centro Studi GISED has participated to competition announcements for independent clinical research promoted by the AIFA - Italian Pharmaceutical Agency - and for the year 2006 it obtained financing for three projects, one as a leading research center and two projects just as participants. In detail:

Biological Drugs: profile of benefit/risk in the clinical rheumatologic and dermatological practice.

The organization of a surveillance European network to evaluate long-term safety and efficacy of biologics, i.e. tumor necrosis factor - alfa (TNF-alpha) antagonist and molecule T-cell in the treatment of psoriasis, with particular attention to risks of rare events.

Evaluation of the impact of written exercises and educational programs on the quality of life, the use of health resources and adherence to treatment of psoriasis patients.
